Shooting for fun!

Yesterday was a rather boring day for me.  So I decided that after I finished up at my day job, I would go across the street and take a few photos of the sunset.  As I pulled into the parking lot I saw that there were some sailing lessons going on in the water near the parking area.  I though that would make for some fun photography play time.  And it was.  I’m not sure if I like anything I got but I’m such a shutter junkie that it almost doesn’t matter.  Just a chance to make images is enough for me to be happy.

After the lessons started to wind down, I walked over to a sea wall that protects a very nice swimming area.  I wanted to get a few photos of the last moment of light before the sun goes down.  I ended up meeting a really cool photographer who was there to do the same thing I was.  We had a wonderful time talking about photography, the magical light we were witnessing, and he turned me on to a great photographer Joe McNally.

Here’s my photos from the day… Enjoy!
