You might remember that a woman contacted me a few weeks ago and asked if she could hire me to do a series of private nudes for her.  Well, we did that shoot last night and it was truly a beautiful shoot.  And one that I feel very good about doing.   I can’t publish any of the images from the shoot since this was to be private and for her eyes only… but I did ask her if I could write about the experience and she agreed.  This is a story I wanted to tell because I feel it’s illustrates the reason why I’m doing what I’m doing with my camera.

When I met her to talk about the shoot, it broke my heart to see a truly beautiful person so beaten down by life that she no longer felt beautiful.  She is not an unattractive woman by any stretch of the imagination.  On the contrary, she is quite beautiful.  This is why it hurt me a little to hear her story and ultimately why I was so grateful and honored that she chose me to show her just how beautiful she truly is.

I wont go into any details but I will say that there was a definite point in the shoot that she seemed to come alive and truly became the very vision of beauty that she was seeking.  I can only hope that she also felt as beautiful as she looked.  At the end of the shoot she was very happy with the results of our shoot and very happy about the experience.  It is my hope that she won’t let the world get her down and that she will continue to see herself as the beautiful woman that she is.
