I have a shoot scheduled for the weekend which I know will be quite beautiful and lots of fun as well. We’re planning on shooting at sunrise at a location that is probably one of the most dramatic places to view a sunrise. The way the sunlight streaks across the black rocks and ocean is truly a sight to see.

Of course I’m also excited about the shoot because I’ll be working with a model who really enjoys the process of shooting. She’s quite adventurous and it’s always fun to work with a model who isn’t afraid to climb trees or rocks, or even do a handstand in a bamboo forest. And to top it off She’s absolutely gorgeous.

I’ve got a few things I need to work on. I need to learn to incorporate a tripod into my shooting and I will also be using a fill flash. I’ve been playing with the flash a lot in preparation to this shoot for fear that I’ll be screwing up a lot of images. I’m hoping that it won’t mess me up and that I’ll be able to incorporate it fairly easy. I also want to get a few images for illustration purposes as well.

As far as poses go. Ive been thinking of a few poses that I’d like to see but, the model I’ll be working with is very god at coming up with poses. So I’ll give her some direction but she wont need a lot of it.

I can’t wait to shoot again…
