Things I’d like to do
Over the past few weeks I’ve been thinking about what I can do with the medium of artistic nudes. One Idea that cought my attention was to do a whole series with breast cancer survivors. I think that all women are beautiful and these women are especially beautiful because they faced death and lived to tell the tale. I would want to do it to allow them to see themselves as the beautiful people that they are. If I did something like this any proceeds from publication of these photos would be donated to a foundation that does research for breast cancer. Which foundation I would donate to is still undecided for me at this stage but it might be a fun project and a way to empower, celebrate, and educate people about breast cancer.
Another Idea I’ve had lately is to do a series of images which focus on a singular object apearring with different models in different poses. I haven’t decided yet what that object would be. It would have to be a very interesting object in order to warrant it being in every shot with different models in different locations.
And lastly I’m still looking for an abandoned or rundown building in Honolulu to shoot nudes in. I think it might be interesting to see the beaut of the nude form with the roughness of a dilapted structure. The difference bwtween the soft curves and the hard edges is what I find so interesting about this idea.
We’ll I’m off to think some more.. wish me luck…
